A Hanging

The passage "A Hanging “is about a Hindu man getting hanged in the gallows. In the story the narrator is experiences the death of one of his friends in prison. He was disappointed because the guards did not have any type of concern with the prisoner was being executed. He then described how healthy the prisoner was and how they were simply going to destroy that in a matter of seconds. Before being hanged, he chanted "Ram, Ram, Ram" and everyone did the same. In the end of the story, everything goes back to normal as if nothing happened people laughing, eating breakfast, and playing around.
