Salvation

In the passage, Salvation by Langston Hughes is about a little boy caught in a lie. His in church with his aunt and gets called down with the rest of the children. His aunts and the others put pressure on him telling him that Jesus is going to save him. As he sees the others being saved he gets a little worried and slightly frustrated because Jesus has not uncounted him or another boy named Wesley. As the other little boy was being inpatient and simply lied saying Jesus has spoken to him he played along too. He knew that he easily convinced everyone that he saw the light of Jesus and was saved. At the end of the story, he felt discouraged for lying to his aunt and the church and making them believe something that did not happen.
